I have a 95 Cherokee 4.0. I noticed on the injector rail that there is a small solenoid with a vacuum hose attached going to the intake. At the connection to the solenoid the rubber boot is cracking. Would that cause an air leak to stop the motor and make it seem like the CPS? I also noticed that the O2 sensor lead to the harness almost burnt through ( it was laying against the exhaust mainforld), could that too cause the motor to just stop running like a bad CPS?
