Hello All, Last I was driving my 92 XJ 5 speed late last night, and all of the sudden she shut off. It wouldn't start back up. The engine cranks, lights work and dash works. Had to get a tow home. I do Not hear the Fuel pump when I turn the key. I swapped the relays in the fuse box under the hood, still not start or fuel pump noise. I recently changed CPS, TPS, Dist Cap & Rotor 2 weeks ago. Also checked my Fuel pressure, it seemed to be low, the gauge read 29. What other problems will make the Fuel Pump not get power? I filled my gas tank yesterday, will I have to drain the gas if I had to change the fuel pump?? She's my DD help!

So, I've done some research, I will check Ballast Resistor, bang of fuel tank/back of fuel pump and run wires from battery to directly to fuel pump... any other suggestions??

Problem Solved! The O2 Sensor wires were melted to the Exhaust Manifold, causing it to short out and blowing the Engine Control Fuse. Easy Free Fix!! Cheers!

Supper that you got it. I think 29# is fine at idle with the vacuum line on the regulator. Then about 10 Lbs more with the vac. line off. (about up to 95 IIRC)
