well my 91 xj wont crank,the fuel pump is running,but i dont think it has the power to push the fuel to the motor,i disconected the fuel lines,the pump is on(i can hear it) but i have no gas coming out of the lines,does this mean i need another new fuel pump?

Your fuel filter may be clogged, try bypassing it

i disconected it before the fuel filter and got no gas

have you disconnected the line before the fuel pump to see if fuel is even getting fed to it? May be a clog in the tank/line before the pump, if not it's probably a bad fuel pump.

i can hear the fuel pump pumping gas but then i hear what seems to me like the gas is falling back into the tank but everything has been hooked up right and i cant see any leaks at all,i think its the fuel pump though
