ok i have a 1990 cherokee 4 cylinder and my fuel pump went out so i went and bought a tank and pump from a 96. the guy i bought it off of was runnin it on an 88. all i need to know is what wires on the stock harness go where on the new pump. on the stock one there are 3 wires, orange which goes to the fuel pump, purple which goes to the gas gauge floater, and black ground. on the new pump there are 4 wires. if anyone can help me out with this i would greatly appericate it.
