i ordered a fuel pump today. i got it from orileys and ordered a precision one. I've heard not to buy an airtex so that's what i got. did i buy the better of the two?

I think that's a good one. I have an airtex unit in my 98 and the sender unit randomly sends the wrong info to my fuel gauge. I have learned my lesson.

Airtex is the bad one.

How has the Precision Fuel pump worked out? I think mine finally gave up the ghost tonight. I can get it started but it will run rough and die shortly there after. I have been fighting the check valve for two weeks prior to this.
