Fuel Pressure and TPS

Engine problem continues. If my fuel pump is going out, will that affect my TPS? And if so, would it be effected in such a way that the TPS throws a code? 2000 Jeep XJ, stock, auto, 4WD, 240k miles.

Did you recreate the condition, pull over somewhere safe, shut down and perform the TPS test on an analog volt meter? Move the harness around while a second person performs the test If you can. If you get a code for tps then look there first. If you can fix the engine issue other issues will be easier to diagnose.
