Starting up the jeep(99, 4.0, Auto) requires about 3 or four seconds because i believe i have a fuel leak. I cannot smell fuel, but i thought i troubleshot it to the fuel pump/regulator/filter. I thought it was this due to the loss of fuel pressure at the fuel rail. When i turn the key, pressure is applied and then steadily falls to nothing. Relplaced the fuel pump/regulator/filter and still the same thing. Can a leaky injector actually affect the start up? and the pressure on the rail? and can i upgrade the injectors if i have to replace them, mind you it is a 99? Thank you ahead of time.

Im not sure about your fuel pressure problem. But i would start by checking all the lines, i dont think theres a pressure regulator on that year since i have a 98 and i dont have one. Also with the injector upgrade, yes you can and there are quite a few threads here that will help you select and find which injectors to get. I just got ford #19 yellow stick injectors. But i think for your year it was dodge neon 703 or 784 injectors, mind you those are only the last three numbers of the injector. if you search you shall find.
