Fuel mileage
I have a2001 xj with 32inch bfg mud terrains . I was hoping maybe tell me what kind of mpg I can expect. Also my selector **** for ac , defrost does not work if anybody has a ideal why . The cruise does not work either but the light on the dash comes on . thanks for the help

Maybe 15-16? city/hwy combinedDoes the air only come out of the defrost?..if so it's probably a vacuum leak so I'd trace the lines and look for cuts or disconnects. When mine stopped working it was because I had changed batteries and knicked the vacuum line that runs behind the battery along the fender.

High mileage 89, I get 21 mpg with 31's, that's Cdn gals, equates to 17 mpg USgal.
I don't run the air con in the summer, it broke long ago, that;s OK because the Peep automatically system balanced and like a Jeep has no heat in the winter, lolololol, check for vac line dislodged.
