Default Fuel line quick connector leaking

The quick connector at the fuel pump is pissing fuel everytime I try to start the Jeep. The fuel line and connector are brand new because I thought maybe the o-rings on the old one were bad, but it's still leaking.

It's a 99 X .

Any idea what it could be? And can I just replace with a regular fuel line and clamps?

Without seeing it, i can only guess that if its spraying from the connector the same as the old one did, the tube from the regulator may be cracked or damaged just enough that the o-ring in the line cant seal. Is the clip in the end of the line fully seated? Is it damaged in any way? Any damage to the line anywhere the o-ring rides? One little burr is all it takes to cut an o-ring. Like said, without seeing it, i can only guess.

It ended up being the outlet on the pressure regulator being loose. Must have broke a weld or something.
