fuel gauge problem
I was rearended a couple months back and my gas gauge has read empty since then. I Dropped the gas tank and everything seemed fine then replaced the gauges trying to think of possibilities. Im guessing the probem is between the tank and the gauge, possibly wiring?

Take out the sender and put an ohm meter on it and move the float from zero to full and make sure you don't have a bad spot in the resistor.
Very common problem on sending units. Most of the time the gauge is just fine.
