fuel gauge on E no low fuel light

Exclamation fuel gauge on E no low fuel light

fuel gauge on empty pegged but no low fuel light. dont wanna drop the tank if i dont have, any ideas what else it could be? maybe a bad connection? thanks in advance for any responses!

bulb in the dash?...is there gas in the tank or does it just read empty all the time?

light comes on when first started and it stays pegged on E even when full. i was thinking fuel level sensor but you would think if pegged to empty the light would be on thats why im thinking gauge issue before i go dropping the tank and testing the sender

if you know anyone with a sender out just plug it in a move the float up and down..if you run it low does the light come on?

nope light doesnt come on at all

sounds like the sender....unplug it make sure your contacts are clean....these tanks are easy to drop

i checked the resistance on the level sensor and thats okay but i found im only getting one volt to the signal wire from the pcm. must be a break in the wire somewhere probably from sinking it lol
