Front Seat Swap Question?!?!?

I have a 1990 jeep XJ, and wanted to put newer front seats from lets say a '00 cherokee in my car. I have noticed the mounting bracket for the seat is different, but is there a way to make it fit in my car?...Can the tracks be switched over?...or can it be modified to fit?...any input would help

switch them out and see if it works. maybe 5 minutes of work to switch them..

there a seat swap out there i think its from grand cherokee to newer xj though

I know for a fact that the 1990 seats and lets say a 99 cherokee have different mounts. Has anyone tried this before with success?...Will the tracks switch over or no?
