Default Front receiver hitch as a tow point?

I have a 01 XJ and im looking to add a front receiver hitch i was wondering if there is a certain type that is recommended? What should i get? thank you.

Do you mean using a front hitch as a recovery point or to town the XJ down the road, say behind an RV?

I think Drawtight and Curt tuck up the most. You want one that sits as high as possible. Receiver Hitches a great recovery points.

I agree I would go with the bumper. Not only do you get a receiver you get 2 recovery points and better protection.... but money doesn't always allow that.

I put a Drawtite front reciever hitch on mine. you cant really tell it is there and it came with tow hooks on it also. bolts right on. I havent had to use it to get pulled out yet but it seems strong.

Looks really nice! Thinking of doing the same, but just one question; will it intefere with a brushguard Aires, waag of steelcraft type.
