At first my tie rod ends (i believe thats their name) bushings not all of them were bad now they are all shot...... and im getting horrible steering and some pops at times....
question
1) they are called tie rod ends right?
2) do i need to buy all new tie rod ends or just get replacable bushings????

Correct they are called tie rod ends and you cant just replace the bushings yo have to replace the tie rod it self theyre easy and are like 16.99 from autozone

It's NOT a bushing like said before. That's just a boot that retains grease and keeps dirt out. A tie rod end is essentially a ball joint. Internally they wear out. Giving more play and eventually failing by coming apart. Replace the entire end. You just take off the outer tie rod from the inner and put the new one on if you are doing them all. Suggested.. then get alighnment after. Don't try and cheap out on things that help keep the rubber side down. (Keep you on the road)
