Default Front bumber mount spacing

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows the spacing on the front bumpers between the mounting brackets?
The reason I ask is I am going to tow my 87 cherokee home and I am making a mounting bracket for the tow bar and would like to mound the bracket to the bumber brackets rather than the bumper it self, also I do not have the cherokee here in front of me other wise I would measure it myself.
Thanks.

32-3/4" is the magic number that worked on my '98 XJ. That is the dimension between the frame rail tie-in/mounting plates.
