Default front axle question?

When I spin my hub assembly, should my front drive shaft spin as well? I'll keep turn my passenger side hub and the shaft will spin and stop and spin and stop. On drivers side went hub spins, shaft spins.

When I turn the paasenger side slowly, the driveshaft doesn't even turn. When I turn it quicker, it does. Is it suppose to?

Yeah its an open diff. Don't worry man. When I was younger, I had an mj. I didn't really understand it, so I put the front and back up on stands and fired it up, put it in gear and watched. Turns out I had limited slip in the back, I could stop either of the front wheels with my bare hands while it was in gear but not the back...
