I installed new much taller coil sping in the front of my cherokee this past weekend and have had a hell of a time getting everthing back on after having to drop alll the control arms and the drive shaft to get the springs on. We got it all back on the only problem is now that my axle is shifted to the left about 2 inches we are thinking it is because the spings are pushing down on the axle so hard but i'm up for any suggestions. I'm gonna try and switch the way the sway bars are from curved one way to the other side and see if it can't draw it back to center. Also my wheels are toed in but i'm pretty sure thats just something an alignment will fix hopefully but i know that they can't do an alignment til i get the axle back to center so any help would be great. thanks in advance
You need a new track bar for " much taller coils" . The trackbar is what centers the axle and when you lift the front it needs to be relocated or replaced with a longer adjustable one.
