Default Freeze plugs

Im losing coolant at a rat of 1-2 inches in the resevoir tank every 2 weeks or so.. I had a guy look at it who is someone i trust and knows what hes talking about..He narrowed it down to the freeze plugs as my loss of coolant. I cant replace them myself and was wondering if anyone knows the price range a mechanic would charge to have them replaced.. Im thinking its going to be quite a pricey fix for a couple $10 plugs.. God this jeep is alot of work.. I just bought it 3 weeks ago and with this and new tires and oil leaks everywhere and rust everywhere its turning into a nightmare and an awful purchase on my part

So many times labor is way more expensive than parts with any vehicle....and any 11+ year old vehicle should be gone over with a fine tooth comb prior to purchasing. A wild guess would be $250-$500. Bad tires, oil leaks and rust kinda stand out and scream buyer be ware.

If u can pinpoint which freeze plug/s are leaking there's a chance you could replace just those if they are reachable. My 92 had just one that would leak and I could get to it with one of those expandable replacement plugs. It lasted for a long time...

If 1 core plug is rusted through, they all are.

"God this jeep is alot of work.. I just bought it 3 weeks ago and with this and new tires and oil leaks everywhere and rust everywhere its turning into a nightmare and an awful purchase on my part"

No one ever claimed Jeeps' were economy vehicles.

I had just one that leaked, and once replaced didn't have another leak until I sold it almost a year later. The others may be close but it doesn't mean he can't replace one and buy some time
