Freeze plug problem! HELP!
So i drove my jeep last friday and on the way back home i started smelling antifreeze. I got it home and had antifreeze dripping everywhere around my tranny. So i popped the hood and the steam rolled. I got it in the garage and found where it was coming from. Its coming out of the freeze plug on the back side of the head up against the firewall. I didnt think it was going to be a big problem replacong it but i thought wrong. I cant figure out how to get the old plug out to put the replacement expandable one in. Has anyone else had this problem? If so i could greatly use the info on how to do it. Ive had a guy i know say the only way is to pull the head but im really not wanting to do that. But please give me your suggestions. Any info and advise will help. Thanks.
