Arrow Four wheel drive conversion

Hey peeps, I'm looking for a Jeep Cherokee and I am starting to get desperate. Of course I would want a 4X4, but I seem to come upon more Jeeps that I like that are 2x4. Would it be easier to get a 2X4 Jeep Cherokee and convert it to a 4X4. I heard its very easy and very cheap because Jeeps are suppose to be 4X4. Let me know what you got!

Take your time and find the right 4wd drive for you. It is fairly easy to convert a 2wd to 4wd but by the time you find a donor vehicle for all the parts you will spend more money than if you wait for a 4wd. Just don't get impatient and jump on the first one find. If you look at one and anything about it that says no in your gut, WALK AWAY.

Do yourself a favor and buy what you really want.

i searched for months until i found the 2 door XJ that i wanted. i planned on "building" my rig, so buying a 2WD didn't bother me that much.

Most would say it's dumb to to a 4WD Conversion, they might be right. However, this was the "project" that i wanted to do!

... and i hope to still get it done someday...
