i was wondering if anyone here is using lowering shackles for a 88-98 chevy truck as lift shackles on an XJ? i know people use them on bronco II's for roughly a 2" lift.

i just noticed how cheap they are at autozone (less than $30), peeked in the box and it looks like they are about 4" longer than a XJ shackle which would give about a 2" lift...

just curious if anyone is running them.

 

Yup only complaint is they aren't greasable.

 

how much lift do they give us?

 

Roughly 2.5".

 

I used a set from a 2009 chev. they worked great

 

swells, are you talking about stock ones? if so how much lift they give you?

 

they were about 1.5 inches longer than the stock jeep ones, but one of the orignal shackles was cracked thats why I changed them.
