hey all, i found a decent parts zj on craigslist and im gonna go look at it tomorrow and try to snag some parts for my 96 xj. My question is, what all can i pull off of it, that will work for my xj? Any thing/part you guys know that can be pulled from zj's to mod/upgrade my xj would be great to know about! (so i can get them in one trip). The zj i will be looking at is a 1998 5.2L awd 132,000k and most everything is there.

some of the parts that i know already to look for (and want):
-d44 rear axel
-front coil springs (2in budget lift)
-alternator (increase voltage)


what else..?

 

LCAs have a bend so your tires don't rub on them.

You do know that the d44 in that grand is a d44A with a aluminum center section and is coil sprung instead of leaf sprung dontcha?

 

ZJ LCAs are the same as on XJ. WJ has the bend. the D44 in the ZJ is aluminum center section and coil sprung. Still alot of usable stuff, if cheap enough, Front suspension, front axle, rear control arms for spares, Tie rod, steering box, may be able to use driveshafts for SYE, Seats can be adapted to fit, transfer case, front spring 1" lift (2" if Up-Country), alternator, misc other items.
