Forever black
Has anyone ever tried the FOREVER BLACK cleaner and reconditioner? The SoCal sun has faded all of my trim and I was thinking about trying it.

I've purchased and used it, but it seems to go away after a while. I've asked around, and the consensus I've gotten about how to bring them back to their original sheen was to either A) Use fine steel wool (which removes what basically is old soap scum and dirt) and then apply the Forever Black, or B) Use a heat gun which supposedly brings it back somehow, not sure how though.
I purchased a brillow pad, one of the green ones used for washing dishes, and gave it a brief try just to see if it would work. Surprisingly (though I haven't done it to the whole vehicle yet) it worked wonderfully, taking off that old crap exposing the nice, deep gray tone below. I plan on removing all mine this weekend myself, then applying the Forever Black onto the refreshed surface. I imagine once it's applied then, it should act like ArmorAll, and keep it fresh for a while.

I used Bondos version of forever black and it hasnt worn out in about 6 months. still nice and dark. I just washed the jeep then put it on when it was dry and worked great.

I tried the Forever Black and it lasted only a couple months. I had better luck with Kiwi Leather Scuff Cover, it's a leather dye and seems to last better.
