there should me 2 plugs in your front bumper that come out and you can mount fog lights there. Myself personally i don't like light on the hood as it can cause too much glare off the hood.

i have two KC daylighters on the cowl by the windsheld and they work great and i think that they look better on the hood than on the roof, and everyone puts lights up there, and for the glare i painted my hood flat black , no glare i will post some pics later for you after im done with my classes

Mounted on fender
There is a glare on the hood but its not blinding. Anyways I only use the lights on the fender for night time recovery.

cool idea Narbu!
Even if the idea or looks isnt for anybody but yourself, the custom work people do is pretty awesome..to say you drilled/cut/bolted/welded/re-wired something to enhance the vehicle (looks or functionality) is pretty cool!

Id like to see some more ideas of this myself...keep em comin!
Mine is only the front bumper for now..(and its a big bumper!)

No I did not take them off completely. I took the five bolts out from under the fender and the two bolts in the door jam so I can pull the fender out a little bit. The mounts I made myself with two square pieces of sheet metal.

For all those with the lights on their cowl/hood, how are they when you have to open the hood?

The ones posted by Narbu look like they'd connect without the hood fully opening.

i set them on the cowl and tried opening the hood and from there just move the mount to were its needed , the lights work great and the flat black hood helps alot with glare so if anyone is thinking about mounting them were i did or something simular maybe cosidering painting your hood it doesnt look bad either
