don't forget the lack of care when it comes to waste management when producing these "hybrid" vehicles. horror stories are starting to pop up about how much plastic waste gets improperly disposed of. there is that spot in the middle of the Pacific that all this waste floats to and collects, and i guess some research group found a whole bunch of factory waste that they've pieced together came from a first gen Prius.

if you are are getting borla for just the sounds I'd say go for it, but if you want performance according to Borla distributors the section of tail pipe on the kit is only 2" which seems like a bottle neck for a vehicle with 190 hp.

and who says a I6 cant sound like a v8?
Me for one. Your sounds good, especially at an idle but as soon as you rev it there just isn't enough cylinders to make the sounds of a v8. Just like the V10's and V12's sound better too me than a v8. Even if the V12 is a smaller engine in cubic inches.
I like the 4.0 it is a tough torquey, long lasting engine. Just can't make it sound like a Ford 460 with Hooker Aero-Chambers. lol

Has anyone ever heard anything about Twister Exhaust? I've had a couple recommendations. Hear the performance with them is good, but have not been able to hear what they sound like on the 4.0L anywhere...
