Yes... and its worst right between 55-70 when you are on the interstate.

Yes, its the welded. It sounds great inside and out. I love the rumble I got. It sounds nothing like a FM 40. At least it doesnt to me. Fm has a higher pitch to it. This has a low rumble to it.
