Default No Start.

So I tried to start my car this morning after a trip to t the grocery store, but nothing. Doesn't crank. I checked the battery and the volts were good. After about an hour of fiddling with stuff, I decided to put the car in neutral and try to start it. After doing this a couple of times it started right up (with a CEL). I'm starting to think its the park switch (although I didn't think this would trigger a CEL). Where is the park switch located?

Thanks
-Lex

Would this cause a CEL? I will do this when I get some free time.

Thanks

Yes it will. The range selector signal for the TCU goes through the NSS and then is reported to the PCM, which inturn reports and error via the CEL.

Great! I bet this is why the guy sold it to me. He probably didn't know what it was. Thanks for the invaluable info.
