Default Flare alternatives

Went to AutoZone today (for a qt of oil...only)

Upon returning to Lil Red, I noticed a Liberty parked alongside.

Of course, its a Jeep, have to check it out up close.

Couldn't help but notice the nice front flares.

Anyone try theses?
Opinions.

Keep in mind, this is just a question.
Think these would work? Or too much modifications.

P.S. I DONT care about what WOULD fit. Just asking opinion about the Liberty flares

TJ flares work surprisingly well, I would like to see the liberty flares on an XJ

There's a guy on NAXJA who bought a wrecked Liberty with a CRD in it, that he's swapping the engine out of into his XJ. If I can find the thread I'll ask if he can try this, since he has the whole thing sitting there already.

Are you guys talkin about the renegage liberty flares that look like the bushwackers thats what i've been wondering also they would be alot cheaper but more mod work i would think

I was referring to the ones that look like bushwackers with the pocketed mounting bolts...yes.


SIDE NOTE: Stopped TODAY at this specific AutoZone, to spy a gold lifted XJ sitting in the employee parking.


Went in for some wire connectors and the latest JP magazine.

Guy behind counter said, "Good write up in this issue about TC's."

Me: "I presume thats your gold one out there."
Him: "Yes it is."
ME: "That a 6.5" lift?"
Him: "Exactly"

I think the libby flares would be sweet i think with some modding it would work
