Default Fitting a Double Din Headunit in a 2000 XJ

I know this isn't your typical question but I have grown fond of my indash DVD player and GPS unit. The DVD player is great when I am waiting for stuff and I am stuck in my car and the GPS is a bonus.

So I jknow that the stock headunits are 1.5 din and I know that most other cars have conversions out for them if they are not double dins.

Is ther a conversion out there to fit a 2000 XJ or has any one done this and want to share the secret? Pictures would be nice too.

Thanks

i used to be an installer. So the answer is start cutting and fiberglassing you wont fit in a 2 din without getting custom

I figured I would have to go custom. I have a good friend who does good work i was just trying to avoid making him do it.

Simple cutting I could do but fiberglass is out of my league.

I hate flip up screens so thats a no go there. Besided I live in Tucson I need my AC vents to not be covered
