First Thing To Check?
Just traded in my car for a used '00 Cherokee sport 4Liter.
130k miles on the odometer. Starts and runs good, it's getting 15 average mpg from my calculation.
What is the first few things I should check on or getting ready to replace? I don't know how hard the previous owners drove it. I heard the trannys go out around 140k.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Just do a fluid change on everything and a complete tune up. Buy if you're really worried about it leaving you stranded, replace the crank sensor and keep the old one for a spare.
