finally done, heat no more
these past few weeks have been crazy but she works. heres a list of things ive done.
new fan clutch, 180 high flow t-stat, hesco high flow housing, flow-kooler water pump, 3-row radiator, optima battery, herculined floor, electric fan, and motor mounts...
temp does not go over this... i was at the gas station and the temp went up to 210 after the jeep was off, after filling up i turned her on and temps went back down after the coolant was flowing... no more heat
housing and pump
put the fan clutch in, decided it was to close to the rad, so i relocated the rad pushing it forward and redrilling new holes and cutting out a piece for the rad filler cap. the fan clutch hit my old rad, thats why i moved it and so a can fit a hd fan clutch with out hitting... new motor mounts helped to
brown dog ultra-flex motor mounts... little vibs, installed easy
huculined floor. little more noise but worth it
new battery, optima red top

Your Cherokee is made to run with a 195 degree stat. With the lower stat you installed it will not come out of closed loop mode and will run rich all the time. Check your fuel mileage... It will drop since your change. Amongst other things... Like your Cat won't last as long because of the extra fuel being pumped through it. And other things I sure someone else can add more!

yes but the operating temp is still 195-200... alot of people run them and so far, the jeep seems a little more pepy now that its running cooler

no smog check.... i was in traffic today and it was hot and it was running about 210. so my jeep is running about 10-15 degrees cooler... it used to run to hot and overheat, so i think i am in the clear

My prediction:
The pcm will add more fuel because the engin is running cooler and gas milage will suffer, kinda like running it with the choke on part way. This will cause a ton of other problems down the road.
The random 16ga wire running across the engine compartment will rub through, short out and burn the jeep to the ground on the side of the road.
The radiator will shift over time and the sharp edges on the upper support will saw the neck off just below the fill cap.

its running about 10 degrees cooler. i would much rather run it at 200-210 than in the red all the time.
o and blkxj, the red wire is fixed i just ran it that way to make sure the fan worked correctly, the rad is way more sturdy than it ever was. and the rough edges are trimmed down and i am repainting the cross bar. thanks for the negative comments.
im glad my jeep is running the way it should and not overheating causing way more damage than running 10 degrees cooler. i take very good care of my cars and they will never burn to the ground unless someone sets them on fire.
i tought this site was for support not rude comments... posts like yours should be deleted. thats one reason why i stop using forums. so i would appreciate it if you didnt assume everyone was a dumb *** and only suggest things and not tell them your jeep will burn to the ground... thanks

Been following this upgrade and will continue. How about some updated pics showing the smoothed rad support and fresh paint, re-routedwiring etc...
