Default A few pics of my tire carrier...

Hey guys.. I just wanted to show off a tire carrier I made for my hitch... nothing fancy, and it was free of charge for me... (which u can't beat) lol. as you will see the 2inch square tube runs higher then the tire because im gonna weld on a tube coming out that i will eventually install a "jeep" 3rd brake light that hooks into the 4pin( the wire will run down the rising square tube...

i didnt want to spend the money on a swing away so i fabbed one up.... i apologize for the bad quality.. the pics were taking with my phone.

and my jeep after lift but before the tire carrier...

What do you use as a rear recovery point??

I'm in the process of building something for my spare also, and your design is the kind I like. Simple and cheap.

I like it, I want something like that but a lil more tilted toward the rear door, so that it wont be so far apart...

that is the only thing I dont like about it visually, it looks like it is too far away from the truck. He may be able to make another pin hole and snug it up though.

This is kinda what I wanted to do but after I thought about it it seemed worthless in my case since I use the hatch allot. I was going to swing it down to the side so its not sitting out that far. As for recovery points, could get some hooks or put some d-rings on?

Nice craft man... It looks pretty simple but I'm sure it will definitely work well for you...
