Default fender flare bolt holes problem

hey guys recently i recently took off my fender flares and side trip because i like the look way better. but there are now small holes where the metal brackets bolted in, i dont want to cut the metal over them but however i want to plug the holes to make sure i dont get rust. i was wondering if there were some kind of bolts i could put in that had a flat top or maybe a small flare. i really dont want to do bondo and paint but i was thinking i would do bondo then put bedliner, idk what to do plese give me tips and ideas

usually when people take them off they cut and fold them....i think filling the holes in with screws would look pretty bad....you could go with cut out flairs...but if your not looking to cut what did you take them off for?

for the rear you make a number of vertical cuts straight up and then fold them up in behind the panel it gives it a cleaner look and gets rid of the bolt holes heres a pic...https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/he...-38788/index4/
hope it helps out a bit

Cutting and folding is trimming your fenders.

How bad does the paint crack on the corner when you fold them up. Paint doesn't stretch.
