Tierod ends are a good place to start. Check out the Track Bar while you're down there.

Yeah pretty much anything that moves your front wheels or keeps them from moving can cause it.

Depends on what you use the Jeep for. Mall cruiser? Go with factory, stock type replacements. Hardcore rock crawler? Upgrade.

Check your wheels to see the lugnuts are all tight. Check your air pressure. Had it aligned lately? Tire balance can be an issue. Tie rod ends, steering stabilizer (might "fix" it, but is a crutch), trackbar bushing and tierod end, control arm bushings. As mentioned, steering box might be loose, steering box might be shot. Lots of things to check...

I had a DW problem a couple years ago. Had the tires balanced, had it aligned. Lasted a couple weeks, DW came back. Threw new tierod ends under it and a new steering stabilizer. DW came back ina couple weeks. I had an alloy wheel that for some reason wouldn't stay tight, but never loosened enough for me to reall y notice it was loose. Different wheels and tires and no more DW, but I did have a vibe that came on about 50-55. Recently I replaced my stock control arms with fixed lowers and adjustable uppers and poly bushings. No more vibe...

Lots of great advice here. I just wish there was an easy way to remove the old axle side UCA bushings.

No, unless you kit comes with a bracket that drops the trackbar.

This death wobble thing, I have a question before it happens to me. When I rock my steering back and forth on dry pavement, where the track bar connects down at the axle it is moving the bushing back and forth about 1/2" total but the bolt stays where its at and doesn't spin at all.

Replace that bushing.

UCA axle side bushings... SUCK!!! Mine seem OK, but when I changed arms I thought I'd change the bushings. Nope. I'll wait till I get a better tool for the job...
