Factory roof rails.

Factory roof rails.
Did they come on different lengths? My cherokee is a 2000 and the stop above the rear of the front doors. I saw pictures that look like they good to the front of the roof line. I was thinking about using the factory cross bar as a simple mount to make a light bar. Can I extend mine or install the longer ones?

Yeah some of the newer model have the shorty style rails like yours and some others have the full length ones. I'm pretty sure you'd have to make the mounting holes/inserts for the front most holes, but not 100% sure
