Default Factory keyless entry removal/installation

My buddy bought a 00 xj classic that the po rolled it, so hes making it into a trail rig and is allowing me to take some parts off it that he doesnt need. It has a a keyless entry, (just locks and unlocks the doors) which i im almost 100% it is factory. I was just wondering if anyone knows what i need to do and what to remove from his rig so i can put it in mine.

You'll need the remotes, the receiver module in the headliner and you might need the wiring harness from the module to the dash. This assumes you already have power locks in the doors. After everything is installed you may have to have the dealershipship sync the remotes to the module, but probably not if the system is currently operational in the donor XJ.

My understanding is it's embedded in the dome light housing over the front seats.
