Default Exhaust replacement suggestions

So this is likely a little different than most exhaust threads.

I've got a 2000 XJ. The exhaust has seen better days. Quite rusty, not leaking yet, but might not be far away.

I'm wanting to keep everything mostly stock from an engine/performance standpoint (sans a few things) and don't want it substantially louder than stock if at all possible.

I'm not wanting to pay for SS necessarily, but also would like to get something that will last a fair amount of time through a midwestern winter, which I know may be difficult.

Pretty much the combo that I keep coming back to is a walker front pipe (which really seems to be about all I can find for front pipes), a magnaflow cat, and a dynomax catback. If I'm not mistaken, that will take it from the downpipes, all the way to the tailpipe, and should be right around $400 for the setup.

Looking for suggestions from folks too though!

Thanks,

400 bucks should buy you stainless at most independent shops.

The Dynomax catback is made of aluminized steel and may rust out in a few years. Better to get all stainless steel components, may be alittle more $$, but it'll be worth it in the long run.
