what does "APN" stand for. Is it a certain brand of header?
you have to be cairfull. 1999, 2000, and 2001 all had diff header and exhaust setups..

2001 came with two pre cats under the intake.. this is the only header ive fond..

Anybody ever put dual exhaust on their xj? I know all the off-roaders are going to crucify me, but i think it would look sick!

APN stands for "automotive parts network". here is a link to the header. http://www.ineedparts.com/auto-parts...-manifold.html

Yeah man it's been done IMO doesn't look or sound any better but i'm not the one who has it on there jeep. All you need is the 1 to 2 y pipe extension thing or you could maybe find a "true" dual setup but it'd be pointless on a 4.0 or any other Inline engine for that matter.

i have a 96 cherokee 4.0 and i took the cat off and put a 2.50 in cherry bomb glasspack and then a 2.25 in pipe out to the back on and everybody can deffinatly here it and the cool thing is that it sounds like an old jaguar

i just love the way dual looks, i know it doesn't help perfomance, i would not dotrue dual exhaust...really just t2o tail pipes from a y pipe or a muffler with dual outlets

running dual would actually hurt the low end of the jeep. running single gives you a better torque curve. plus the way the headers are in the jeep you really cant make a true dual set up anyway. it would look cool but it would be pointless.
