exhaust help

Default exhaust help

i am replacing my exhaust and tail pipe and i cannot get the muffler off of the cat for the life of me can anyone give me a few ideas of how to get it off i need to have this done by 3:00 so any fast help is appreciated

Default Sawzall.

Home depot sells cordless ones. Get it welded on after that. Come to DE and I'll weld it for you.

i have the ryobi one but all 4 of my 18v batts are dead have 1 charging now to cut

Cut a slit along the pipe connected to the muffler. Do that on both sides and it should come off.

X2...that is how i got mine off, but i just cut it off with a sawzall and slit the pipe after. i also didn't put a tail pipe on but welded a turn down on the end of the muffler. i think it sounds better for jeeps that way anyway
