Default Exhaust help

Hello everyone I am new to this forum. So therefore I decided to test all your advice, lol. Ok, I have a 99 cherokee sport and I have a crack in my exhaust manifold and need to replace it, so I figured what the hell...ill just get a complete new exhaust. I want a good cheap header and complete exhaust system that will basically "bolt on" remember $$ unfortunately is huge factor. So please let me know what you guys come up with!
Thanks,
- Mike

for money you could get a pacesetter header, they are not the best but are good and cheap.

bmrr hit on the only header that meets all your criteria. Fairly good quality and fairly cheap. There are several others but they are either better made or way more expensive. Cheap is not always a bad thing as long as quality of materials is not compromised.

hmm... pacesetter is fine with me 2 questions...
1. is it the same as the oem? like the angle, not the ID.
2. what do you suggest for cat back?

Thanks for your input!

!- Yes it bolts right into the place of the OEM and fits onto the head and downpipe just fine. The diameter is the same but the curves are a little more sleekly turned. It is not a high performance header but those are available in the $500 price range.
2- The best cat back system is the Borla IMO but it again is not the cheapest.

Can't help you with that as my muffler shop built mine and it seems to flow better than the OEM and it was pretty cheap.

Look at summit racing for the Dynomax setup..Usually runs just over $100 for muffler and pipe..

Hedman also makes a header for the 4.0L as does Clifford and Borla. There may be others but those are the ones I have seen.

Pick the one with the best warranty. Headers will crack and if it does it soon it may be covered by the warranty. Saves you money in the long run, but might be more expensive up front.
