I'd say go with the high flow one. Many brands offer ones that are 50 state emission legal and meet smog/ CARB standards too. As long as it serves the same purpose and does what a cat is supposed to do I don't think you will get any flak for it being a "performance" item. I think the emission laws for the US are roughly the same, if not slightly stricter than the laws in Canada, so you should be good. Also if you get it through a company in your country they should be able to tell you if it's legal or not.

Just a quick question. The video where it's just sitting in your drive way revving with the big chrome tip sticking out under the rear bumper, was that straight pipes, or glass pack?

I hear the best sounding exhaust on a cherokee ever last weekend while I was at the sand dunes in Oregon. It was a cat, then flowmaster 40 single in dual out with duals all the way back between the springs and gas tank. No joke it sounded so good this is what I am going to do hands down. I too have been wondering just what I want to do.
The sound was slightly deep with no raspy tone at low or high rpms. It wasn't loud at all and decently quite inside despite no interior. Best sound I've heard yet, maybe its that dual setup that does it.

So, took the jeep in to get exhaust done and they told me that my jeep is messed.. This is what they told me:
Both rear drum brakes are seized and that the brake shoes had worn out and it was metal on metal.
The two front disc brakes wobbled.
Needed all 4 new ball joints and a u joint.
My axle needed to be yolked and it was missing a bolt.
The underneath was rusted pretty good.
I had only one of these clips forget what they were called or for but if I was to put it into 4wd it would fly off.
So, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, for sure not repairing it.
