So I been geting bad mpg and I had my co worker look at my jeep and hes great on cars 20 plus experience. He said my canister purge valve is mounted upside doen and the hoses to it are hooked up wrong. He said it mounted like that would dump more fuel into my intake or charcoal canister. It was mounted with the electrical connector up toward the firewall he said it should be mounted with the connector down toward the a/c lines are is this true.

Oh damn I mounted mine the other way with the eletrical connector toward the ac line not like yours will it hurt my jeep if its mounted like that

I don't quite understand. It only goes on one way. What you see in the pic is the factory installation. Why not just install it that way...
