Default Err-tated!!!

1994 xj-d-35 rear, abs brakes, w/auto adjust. I cant seem to get the adjuster wheel to line up with the lever, all new hardware/brake shoes except the adjust wheel, it worked fine. Have put it all together, taken it apart several times.. Any ide-ers???? Stumped

Try reversing the adjuster wheel end to end? As in, is it upside down?
