Cool Engines out... Now what?

Well I blew my head gasket at just over 250k and decided to drop a new longblock in.
I have the old motor out and it'll be a week before I drop the new one in. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of things I could do while there's a big hole up front.

Steam clean the engine bay, pull the reused parts off of the old block and clean them up.

Clean it up nice and paint it. Clean up the wiring while you don't have to fight around the motor to play with it. (That is unless your getting all new wiring)

Cleaning is definitely on the list. I actually cleaned before I started and apparently didn't get it all.

While I had mine out I service and replaced all the gaskets and seal on the transmission and transfer case. Check and repair any break or fuel lines that look questionable.
