I have a 2000 Cherokee limited. My girl rolled it and left it running on it's side. It now souds like a diesel. Obviously time for a new engine. What year engines can go into my jeep and what kind of component swap/purchases will I need to make?

 

I would say any will work but if you wana just drop a new one in you should look for a 99-01 I am pretty shore those years had all the same sensors.

Or buy a crate motor 4.5 or 4.7 stroker
