Engine surging at highway speeds. My 2001 XJ is surging during normal operation. The rpms increase up 500 rpms then drop back to where they were. This happens both in and out of cruise control, when the engine is warm. It has not happened at lower speeds. I have ordered a TPS, is there anything else I should be looking at?
