Default Engine shudder/stutter or????

While driving my XJ home from work this evening a strange thing happened twice. The first times was running about 60 with the cruise on, the second was just a little faster with the cruise off. It felt like the engine kinda shuddered or stuttered for a split second, it was very easy to feel but only lasted less than a second. It almost felt like it decided to run on only half the cylinders or something for a split second. The rest of the time it was running as normal, idled fine and did fine upon accelerating. It is a 95 XJ with header, dynamax exhaust, cold air intake, throttle body spacer, Jet stage 2 chip. Any suggestions on what this might be? I am getting ready to do a full tune up on it next week (plugs, wires, coil, rotor button & cap), but not certain if it could be one of these components or a sensor somewhere??

Thanks
Martin

Look at the ground from your battery and the hot from the battery to the PDC. Mine did that when I first got the Jeep and both those cables were corroded and when I replaced them it never did that stunt again. Try that Martin.

And if that don't work, do your tune-up and see if that cures it.
