engine question
ok so i have a 91 HO 4L that has developed a rod knock(the motor has 250,000) and i have found a motor for super cheap but it is out of an 89. I am wondering if my head will work with that block or is are there any problems that i will run into if i try this swap.my plan with the cheap motor is to take the block if in good shape and have it bored and buy a master rebuild kit and put a new cam,lifters,the whole nine yards. give me some feed back

I'm pretty sure your 91 head will fit on a 89 block, I don't think the block ever really changed between the years, just the heads.
