ok looking at needing a new engine... I have a horrible noise coming from mine after over heating... I would just rebuildbut I really really need it running in the next 2 weeks, so I found a I6 4.0 HO which is what mine is currently but froma 1992, when mine is a 1996? would that be an problem. I was thinking that it was the same engine but someoone let me know... it has 190xxx on it but it is temporary while we slowly rebuild my current one. forgot to add it is in a werecked 92 and owner says I can come hear it run, $250 for it.

am I correct in assuming it is the same engine?
