1999 xj 166k I have been in the process of replacing my injectors I got two done it started running a lot better then the holidays came along and some cold weather here in CT I went to start it yesterday check engine light is on it had a hard time starting very rough idle smell of raw gas and oil not coolant so much a lot of white smoke from the tail pipe seems like low compression have not drove it yet but after 10 min of running they is a puddle under the tail pipe from from whatever mixture of fluid is in the system should I continue changing my injectors or do I have a much bigger problem on my hands. Head gasket? Misfire?

Does the white smoke smell? Maybe sweet? I would start by checking all fluids.

Also how and why did you only do 2 injectors? You have to pull the whole rail out to get to them, so why didn't you just do all 6?

Also again, it's recommended when you put new injectors in to reset the computer, it's an easy process that's done in 5 min, and allows the system to learn the new injectors.
